Welcome to the MUY CHIC website, my name is Alma Olivera, I'm the Designer and Owner of the Muy Chic Jewelry Collection, a home-based business. Since 2006, I've been designing and creating handmade jewelry. I have a love for creating jewelry of all styles, textures and colors, that’s what allows my creativity flow. My Artistic styles are Eclectic, designs that are mixed not having to be matched. Urban Chic, is sophisticated, classy and glamorous. Contemporary offers simple, soft and uncluttered look. The Muy Chic Jewelry Collection, I Handmade myself. I take pride in my work and my quality of standards is unwavering. Throughout the years I've been working with a variety of different types of materials, stones and metals and have developed many new techniques that I incorporate in my designs today. In 2009, I launched my shop Muy Chic on Artfire, a selling forum for all things handmade.
I was born and raised in Los Angeles, County and I'm the youngest of four siblings. I'm married and have two sweet and loving boys. My sons Matthew and Jonathan are the sun rise and sun set in my days. We live in the San Bernardino County in the city of Chino, California. Since 1992, I've work full-time for a Law Firm in West Los Angeles. Yes, life is a challenge working full-time, building a business, running a household, raising two young children and three dogs that all need my attention, did I mention overwhelming?? This is my life ~ I live it, love it and embrace it..
